For 15 years now, Angels Garden has never stopped.
24 hours a day.
365 days a year.
We have seen a lot.
Too much.
Sometimes we are forced to look away from eyes begging for help, simply because there is no more space, no more strength, no more money. And that always leaves behind guilt, sadness, and the painful feeling that you are not doing enough.
Lately, most of the animals we take in are elderly or close to death.
Tired souls. Forgotten souls.
Souls that were once somebody’s “baby.”
This little one can barely hear.
He can hardly stand on his feet.
And yet… there was no way we could leave him behind.
Somehow, we will make space for him. Again.
The moment he arrived, the battle began:
- medical examinations
- dental cleaning
- ear treatment and cleaning
- special nutrition
- daily care
- medication
- time
- patience
- love
But none of this is free.
