Stitch – The sweetest gentleman at the shelter
Stitch is the sweetest old gentleman at the shelter. The moment you call his name, he comes looking for you, happily grumbling his way over as if he has something important to tell you.
We found him in a village, just one step away from death. His condition was critical for a very long time, and we honestly weren’t sure if he would make it.
Thankfully, he is now stable and enjoying his life by our side.
Stitch is a happy, sensitive and absolutely lovable old boy. His eyes are severely damaged and he can no longer see, but somehow, he still seems to see and feel everything around him.
Our vet told us that Stitch is well over 10 years old, and sometimes we wonder how he managed to survive for so many years. Perhaps the answer is simple: he has such an incredible will to live.
He is social with other dogs, absolutely adores people and loves his food. When there is no person by his side, he enjoys finding a quiet little corner where he can lie down and rest peacefully.
He may very well spend the rest of his life with us. But his age should never be a reason to stop looking for a home for this wonderful old gentleman.
We dream of seeing Stitch one day with a sofa of his own, surrounded by all the comfort, warmth and love that a family can offer.
After everything he has been through, isn’t he the one who deserves to spend his golden years in the comfort of a loving home?
