Jaimy – A shy soul who deserves a peaceful life
Jaimy was found as a puppy, sick, terrified and hiding inside an abandoned house. We took him to the shelter, hoping that with time, patience and love, he would learn to trust people.
But for years, Jaimy struggled to trust us. No matter how much we tried, he remained deeply fearful, and we eventually made the difficult decision to send him to a professional trainer who could help him in a different environment.
He stayed with the trainer for several years, and in the end, we knew we had made the right decision.
When Jaimy returned to the shelter, he was like a completely different dog.
He is still shy and hesitant, and he needs time to feel comfortable with new people. But now he enjoys being petted and going for walks, and he has learned that people can also bring him comfort and happiness.
Jaimy is friendly and social with other dogs and feels much more comfortable around them.
The shelter, however, is not the right place for a sensitive dog like Jaimy . What he needs now is an experienced, patient and understanding person who will respect his boundaries, give him time to trust and show him that life can be calm, safe and happy.
Jaimy doesn’t need someone to change him.
He simply needs someone who will understand him, believe in him and give him the time he needs.
After everything he has been through, we would love nothing more than to see Jaimy finally experience the quiet, peaceful and happy life he deserves.
